Under which time horizon?
May be for the 75th or 100th anniversary of the moon landing?

Good call, but where does the Company go next to top this? A cal. 321 case carved out of a solid diamond block?

As mentioned by the CEO... no more LE - Limited Editions...
But I can't believe Omega still doesn't offer an extra "practical" bezel with their favorite chronograph

Still a good deal imho.
Agree, they are really a nice rendition on the original. For those that don't like the standard bracelet there are plenty of alternatives. People are overly worked up on the aged patina, imo.

I’ve been singing the praises of the trilogy speedmaster since I got one shortly after they hit the market. They are beautiful watches, and the bracelet is easily my favorite ever. I agree that it might take off. The Sm 300 might, as well.

You seriously might be the only person that’s bought one and actually took a picture wearing it.

Nope! There was another one - me ::psy::

I believe the trilogy watches will be appreciating steeply in the next couple of years. The Railmaster will likely continue to lag behind. I put my money where my typing is and just picked up the SM trilogy shown here but not yet in my hands. I've looked at these several times. These are (to me) by far the best-looking Seamasters ever made, along with the original version, of course. The bracelets on these are my favorite Omega bracelets, easily. Of course the Speedmaster is still just a bit better, but....it's a Speedmaster. Cmon.

totally agree! a 321 version would be nice, though the 1861 makes it a bit easier to maintain...

alternatively,

I will get one of those 60th's... one day. I wouldn't mind all three!
Is this bezel the trilogy bezel that has been "aged"?

While you might have a point about appreciation, I might add that of the 3, the RM is in many ways the nicest to wear. I flipped the Speedy and Seamaster and kept the RM. Partly this was because of overlap with other watches ( I have other Speedies and Seamasters) so YMMV but of the 3, ironically it is the least loved which spoke to me the most. I do occasionally regret moving the Speedy on though, particularly when I read posts as well reasoned as Eugene’s!

I won't argue that the Railmaster is also a great watch, and I have thought to grab one a few times, but it is a clear 3rd in the trilogy stakes, in my opinion. The Speedmaster wears very well, and I expect the 2913 progeny will wear even a little better.

As for future values, there is no doubt in my mind all three will appreciate, but the Speedmaster and Seamaster will pull away from the RM, and the Speedmaster will remain the best investment. I'll go so far as to predict their values (usd) in 2025 (full sets in near new cond): 2915=20k,
2913=18k, 2914=12k. Collectors who will refuse to pay more for Snoopy, Alaska, ST, etc will begin searching out more affordable options, and the Trilogy watches are WAY underappreciated given their beauty and quality...and eye to the past.

It's brave of you to talk numbers. We shall see of course, but my own feeling it that those are a little optimistic, particularly on the SM and RM. One thing to bear in mind don't forget is that there are rather more of the Trilogy watches than some other LEs, as many as 3x in some cases. That said, not being limited doesn't seem to have harmed the Snoopy 3 or 321 NEW so maybe that issue size not longer a factor in the brave new world of FOMO at all costs.

What were there....3000 ish of the Trilogy watches? It won't take long for all those to find their way into the hands of collectors who won't put them up for sale. Don't make me tell the story of the Alaska Project. I'm sticking to my numbers. Would I BET real money on my prediction? No. And another factor that may drive up prices on the pristine examples could be that the trilogy watches might actually get WORN by humans. In which case, many will no longer be pristine...making the others more sought after. I call it the 1952 Mickey Mantle effect. (not to be confused with the Green Bay sweep🙄)

Yep you are right, 3K of each plus the 557 in the set of 3 with the arguably less nice extra dial text. I had a higher number in mind initially.
