Here you can see the logo of the authenticity and the words stainless steel on the lugs.
But i saw someone bought an omega watch with authentic movement, and the movement number is the same one on the back of the case.

It looks like omega forget to carve them. Anyone comes across this issue before?

That’s definitely odd and a red flag. The case may have been heavily polished, but who knows why they’re not there. Could also be a QC mishap…

I would demand a new case or have them engraved (under warranty). That would heavily affect sell-ability.

The back side of the lugs appear to have been polished, but if they were why was the SN not removed as well? I would guess the laser etching is equally deep on all engravings.

I think that these inscriptions were not originally. Otherwise, the serial number would have been removed. And as we can see, he is present.

I wouldn't be so sure. It's easy to mask off one side of a case for polishing,

I think if it was possible that omega forget to engrave the other side? While the worker assembled thw watch, they just nees to confirm the serial number.

Might be worth looking into the production history of that specific model. I know that for instance
the Speedmaster didn’t always have that logo and writing on the lugs but on the case back instead.
Somebody correct me here but Omega I think has used different manufacturers for their cases so these engravings may vary by production year and specifics of that model.

With the number of SMP Divers they’re pumping out these days, anything is possible.

I’ve read several QC mishaps with this watch across multiple forums. It’s a great watch, you just need to be weary of such issues when purchasing.
