This 14381 has been up for a while. There is patina but it's not unpleasant, everything looks original, the case appears unpolished and the movement looks good. There's also a 5-row BOR with 11 end links. It's £825 with the option to make an offer. At that price for a decent SS Constellation, I am amazed it's still hanging around. The BOR alone is about £150 worth. I have been tempted to make an offer but I already have a good 14381 and I can't afford the luxury of two. IMO (and I have no connection with the seller) this is a nice and sought-after Constellation at a very reasonable price.

One of my favourite movements in one of my favourite references. Desirable dial and bracelet to boot... Despite the somewhat heavy aging, this seems cheap.

I actually had it on buy it now but had to pick my daughters up so got out of the car. Five minutes later when I went to get it, it had gone! Small margins etc.....

And me... I think we all did. Trouble is I've been given the go ahead to buy a Speedy Mk so I don't want to blow the opportunity 😉

This was a cracking pick up though, will look forward to seeing the arrival pics.

Let's see -- I think a few months ago they were in the $6.5-$7.5K USD range depending on seller/condition.
There was one just yesterday that sold at the WoK auction for a £3,500 hammer, so with 24% fees -- £4,340 which is roughly $5,600 USD.

To give you a ballpark
Yes, given how rare these Lemanias with two pushers are, I'm surprised this one hasn't sold yet. Even though the monopushers are much more common (not the Nuclear submarine white dial!) they seem to be selling like hot cake--also on MWR. Anyone interested might even be able to negotiate an even better deal than 4.800 sterling...

There's a nice and relatively rare Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm issued Lemania (produced for two years -- '75 and '76, and approx. 250/year) that's listed on MWR.

Good seller -- example is legit, just the lume on the hands would need to be fixed if it bothered you.

Sorry, forgot.

It's not "relatively rare" - it's considered rare as hen's teeth.
And the seller is indeed a top bloke - as the Brits would say.

‘Running jokes’ are always wise to employ, when trying to sell a significantly priced watch…
Always reassures the Buyer…
He's posting in a community where he is well known and has enough seniority to do so.
The PX on MWR is a private sales facility for enthusiasts, just like the sales forum on OF.

Just receive the watch! It's indeed a beauty, although the bracelet is EXTREMELY large for me and I have no interest in breaking it by trying to adjust it myself!

Good afternoon, OF!

If I didn't already have this, that watch would not be yours.... As it is, congratulations!!

A very clean jumbo Constellation at a fair price. Strap appears to have an Omega buckle but there's no way to assess it from these photos. I thought this would have gone by now. Seller not known to me.

Not strictly a jumbo although some refer to the hidden crown Connies as such as they wear larger on the wrist. (This is the smaller .004 case)
Nice dial and case but I suspect the back has been ground down to remove blemishes or an inscription.
Still a nice watch though
