Hi every one
I found this 146026, the serial number place it at the very beginning of production
The dial seems genuine and kind of nice, the state of the case difficult to judge and it is fitted with a Mexico bracelet and it is actually in Mexico.
The interesting thing is that it is fitted with the domed glass of a 145013. I looked up the diagrams of the models and it seems possible to me to fit a 145013 glass in a 145026 watch.
The question is: do you think that this is an original delivery, like what happened with the transitional dials (originally for 145013 but repurposed for the early 145026) they also fitted some 145026 with 145013 glasses.

Good morning, sorry to crash like this but I need some help.
I just inherited an Omega vintage and I'm trying to get some information on it, like production year, model and market value (I do not intend to sell it).
The information on the internet is not clear.
Thanks in advanced for your time.
MR
So the model number is on the inside of the back: 2320-2 And looking up the serial number in the 11 million range places it in 1947. Chrono24 shows one around $1800 asking price.

This fella was up on the block yesterday and sold for £2500. What do you think?

https://www.easyliveauction.com/cat...ef448a6646f/jewellery-silver-watches-lot-656/

They stated "A 1972 Omega Flightmaster ref: 145.026 stainless steel chronograph wristwatch, the grey dial with three black dials for seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour registers, outer fifths of seconds track, blue timer hand, rotating outer bezel and orange seconds elapsed hand, the tonneau shaped case with two pushers and three crowns, with Omega stainless steel bracelet with deployant clasp numbered 1162. The hand wound cal. 911 lever movement signed and numbered 33314250. 43 mm wide case. Note: The Omega Flightmaster was introduced in 1969 and is regarded as one of the best pilots watches ever made. The present reference 145.026 watch is one of the earliest examples of the second generation of the model, and the first to feature the caliber .911 movement."

I think that’s a bit over the odds, not a lot. But that case has lost its finish, and may have been well over polished, the pushers are not perfect and by the time you’ve added a premium and a decent service, it’s starting to look at the higher end of retail but with all the buyer beware risk of buying at auction for a reasonable example.

Perhaps. Looks like some signs of the grain on the starburst finish here but hard to tell in those photos.

When i purchased my Flightmaster a few years back it came on a very used Omega leather strap, just wondered if anyone knew if a leather strap was an option when these were originally sold and if this looks like it may be an original Flightmaster strap or not:

Try looking at google for advertising, Below shows mostly always on bracelet.

https://www.google.com.au/search?q=omega flightmaster advertising&sxsrf=ALeKk03N4vo_f1NH4KJ7ekOLiO5eU8HTmw:1627824069045&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=ZtoUQEWVa8NdzM%2CKG8RugoJCGA6vM%2C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kTLHzUfR-fgA-cujEFadE_URxMKiA&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwig75Cb9Y_yAhWJzTgGHWXED3AQ9QF6BAgQEAE

But there is this from possibly AJTT by the layout of the photo.

In the 50-60-70s everything was a option at Omega. You could pick what you wanted.

Could anyone give me the exact sizes of Flyghtmaster original leather strap?
I would like to manufacture the strap for my Flyghtmaster with the correct size, in particular the step at the case.

Thank you

My 910 flightmaster came with this strap, I dont know that its genuine but looks the same as the one in the advertisement. It has the ridges the same as the one in the advertisement but they dont show up too well in the picture, only if the light catches it.
Its 22mm width at the case but there isnt any step. The straps are 75mm and 115mm in length

Edit: Just noticed there is a 22mm Omega corfam on UK ebay

It seems to be larger than 22 in this point

Its 21.9mm at the case and maximum 22.5mm at the widest point

I wonder if the movement and dial got transplanted into the newer case or if it’s a factory oddball transition between the 910 movement 013 to 026 case.
I think the 910 movement and dial got transplanted into a 911 case. The 910 case is a little thinner than the 911 case. The 910 movement goes with the 910 dial as the 9 O'clock subdial is 24-hr vs. seconds subdial in the 911 movement.
