Haha, I did not. Don’t have the funds for it currently, and even if I did, there are other holes in my collection I would rather fill at this point.

    Ok, understand that.
flightmasters are actually a little hyped . Nevertheless i love them for a long time and pulled the trigger end of last year and last week.
Here are pictures of my .013 and 0.36 before service (hope to get them back this week after spa) and my .026 which i bought last week.
The holy trinity will be united this week and a family picture will follow.

Looks like there's a pretty nice dial hiding under that severely scratched crystal. It's going to look great after service- looking forward to the pics and hearing what they do to it.

Thanks a lot. I hope (with a new crystal) this nearly perfect dial of my .013 will shine bright.

Very cool! from what I can tell, it's very original, very good condition. Looking at the Flightmaster Only book, it looks like the red/yellow pushers may be service replacements, but the heavy hitter items like the band, the hands, the dial with tritium are all original and in fantastic condition.

My first Omega Flightmaster... love it... anyway I have a question whether is it okay if i keep the chronograph to keep moving or can i stop the chronograph hands at different position to clearly show the omega logo, will this cause any damages to the movements?

Known issues are: winding mechanism doesn't stop, gasket around bezel has deteriorated and needs to be replaced, one of the chrono pushers was replaced by previous owner. In addition to the movement service I am thinking about replacing the crystal and the pushers. Specific instructions to keep dial, bezel, hands, 3 crowns unchanged. Only clean bezel, and to not polish the case. Not sure if the crowns are original or service, and not sure if the caseback was polished as the perimeter portion looks too shiny and has no starburst finish left on it.

The 1162/172 bracelet is small on my wrist. Looking for extra links or a lightly used bracelet to go with the case condition.

Think twice. Chances are high that you get it back "like new" with all those original vintage parts replaced.
