Your photography skills have seriously leveled up, Chris 👍 @tyrantlizardrex

Thanks Alexis!

Patience and tinkering seems to be the key. The 145.013 is still an absolute pain though!

Hi, just got a flightmaster with a 1162/172 strap, but for the life of me i cant seem to get the strap off, it is a spring bar in there right? the strap doesnt really have a window for your to insert your spring bar tool

That sounds about right... you need to bring it to a watchmaker, at least that's what I did.
The previous owner of mine had bent a bit the end link to make space for the tool to fit.... but my watchmaker straightened that back to factory specs. Not sure how you remove it properly.
May be @Archer can possibly chime in? (Thank you in advance Al for your advice and guidance...).

The early 1162/172 end links dont have much space but you can get a very fine spring bar tool in there and release the spring bar or a 1.0mm screw driver which is what I use. The later style end links have cut outs which make it easier to release the spring bar.
If the spring bars are old and tight it might be worthwhile to spray them with a little WD40 and leave them for an hour or so to ease up before trying to remove them.

Thank you for your replies, I brought it to a watchmaker in the end, managed to get it out.

This thread is really making me think about getting another 910. Clearly not as over them as I thought 😁

I’m drawn to that case shape from omega in all it’s forms. Except the newer space master. I can’t get behind that watch.
