indeed both have the white gold bezel, I also got the linen dial WG bezel for my wife later when one popped up.

I'll have to check the bracelet code later.

Thanks!! I already have 3 constellation C-Case, and I'm starting to feel like one sick crazy dude for keeping all of them.

Good to hear that, problem is I have a couple more vintage seamasters and universal geneve, plus some seiko presages, and seiko speedtimer from 70s, i'm starting to consider if I should just focus on Omegas and drop the other brands by selling them all

Finally back from the SPA. The repair cost twice the purchase price but I don’t care. I had an itch and I scratched it.

Both of my kids have claimed them. Son (16) is wearing his now and daughter will do so on special occasions and as she is only 9.

Hello all,
I got a new 168.017 Linen dial from 66 last saturday, I will share some photos soon.
After a full day yesterday and this morning, I could not find an answer, what was the design of the buckle used on the 168.017 ?
Because it's a brand new buckle and I would like to put a vintage one on it.

I rode the thread about the buckle, looked the old advertising poster and image of 168.017 Constellation.. But never find a proper answer, is somebody know it would be super helpful !

Thank you

Okay, reading Desmond website, it's also blurry, I will go for the most geometrical buckle

Yes It's the one I was going for, I call it the most geometrical because it is. It's a really nice buckle design !

Hello guys,
As I said monday I want to share with you some photos of the 168.017 linen dial from 66 I got last week. 😀

The dial catch the light lovely, going from really dark to bright brushed metal.
Here are the back with her sister, unfortunately the joint is dead dry, I will replace it next week.

Here are both together 😀

Champagne is from 69 and Linen 66.

Some stuff are funny comparing them :
Size and placement of the star are different. Bigger and more up for the Linen.
The width of the chamfer on the side of the case are wider on the Linen also.
Even on the movement, some details are different on the Linen (refinement), while the movement of the champagne dial is a bit more gold color looking.

The demand is pretty much 0 for YG C-Case’s right now, slightly above or at gold value, sometimes below gold value is where you buy watches at

It’s $1800 for just heads and $5500 for a complete set, not net. - it’s what you pay eBay, auctioners etc. so owners get 20% less

It’s a good time to be collecting

I attached 2 photos for the bracelet, before/after cleaning, I thought I’d have cleaned a gram away but I didn’t 😀

What bracelet model # is this? I assume it’s solid 18k gold?

No # model on solid gold bracelets, this one was made in Italy for Omega

Many many models no codes, many locally made ones too, all official

Im currently on the look out for a C shape 168.029 in 18K gold case.

In scope a model that looks OK to me but is also raising some question marks.

I notice some wear on the fluted bezel and the left lower lug seems to be thinner than the right one (possible result of asymmetrical polishing).

Could I get some opinions, do I miss something?

Professionally bad repolish job sadly, means that the gold is gone and the geometry is bad, those facets shouldn’t be that thick
