I think the opposite, even in the brilliant fantasy that is James Bond I don't think they would give a spy a watch that has markings on the dial that denote it as British Govt property....ooops! For retail, if folks like it why not? I am sure it is a great watch but the use of the pheon on the dial is a step too far for me, personally.
That's a good point, and I agree! I still don't think it should be used on a watch that isn't military issue, though.
Better judge yourself, my amazing AD called today...
I am impressed:
So light&easy to wear, true Bond-watch without yelling it. Technical qualities of the 8806 are stunning, dial is soooo stylish—you have to see this piece yourself! Photos&videos don’t do any justice. Even though I am a huge Rolex fan, this Seamaster beats the Rolex Sub in every way. Yeah, sub was the original Bond watch, but Seamaster is the Modern era Bond watch. IMO: Best Bond Watch Ever.
I think this is one of the first Bond Seamasters in Europe!
So I thought fair comment , try a watch on a mesh why not . So this is the closest I could find in the mesh & watch department, and I’ve got to say the bracelet is a lot better on the wrist than I thought & very comfortable too . Looks like I might be giving my local AD a visit .

I would love that watch honestly, but at 9200 that is just too much for me. 5000 after discount and now were talking ...
B BluefishDoes anyone know why they are not limited editions like the previous bond watches? For the price you may expect them to be?
