18 September 1961...
As often during the aftermath of a passenger aircraft, the victims' wrist watches are found standing still at the time of crash, which together with the HF radio messages, radar data and the speed of the aircraft, helps investigators to make a clear image of what happened...
Sadly the crashof this Swedish DC-6 "Albertina" remains an interesting & fascinating mystery...

C47 transport in D-Day livery... Grenchen airport September 2024
.
Lovely pic. Also just in time for the 80th Anniversary of Operation Market Garden, the Allied attempt to ultimately capture the bridge over the Rhine at Arnhem. Still the largest airborne operation in history.

Where's the fire?
Spin the globe and point a finger, its basically every where these days, except northern Europe, they are litterally drowning in rain, I am afraid.

I would like to know were too.

Provence , near St Tropez
The problem is often the neglected condition of the cars here: hell, if they start burning in this forest fire area whith very diffucult access for the fire brigade.
