Hey everyone, hoping y'all are well...

favor:

A year, maybe more, ago there was a thread either
started by or added onto by a fella who owns a Speedmaster... he went onto outline all the years he's had it, what's he's done while wearing it - various adventures and life events - it was quite impressive and many folks here chimed in with questions and comments.
I think he talked about either diving/snorkeling or surfing while wearing it, it was pretty amazing.
He might have been a new member - can't recall but anyway, I've spent an hour looking for it via the search function and am having zero luck, any help greatly appreciated.

My wife with movies almost nightly ~ "Oh let's watch that movie... you know, the one where that guy with black hair does that thing? He was in that other movie too. Remember?"

Was it the one where the guy had inherited his dad's watch and one of the stories was he had accidentally electrically welded it to his arm while trying to jump a car battery so it had a different, replacement bracelet from a few years later than the actual watch?

Do you mean the guy who sailed across the Atlantic alone when he was 16 or something and dropped his watch in the bilge but found it later?

The thread must've been deleted when the OP detailed how he likes to mow the grass wearing it...

I couldn't find any threads to suggest that others haven't already. But I'm keeping an eye here as I'd like to read it. Must've been a good'n

It was, various folks here really enjoyed what the poster was saying about his Speedmaster and all the experiences with it.

Thanks for keeping an eye peeled.
