This is a weird one. I wonder how many pieces Omega are expecting to sell. I love the Apollo 8 50th. This one, I don't get...

It’s nice enough - but the Apollo 8 is far nicer in my view.

They are both very nice... Similar but still slightly different…;-)

Not the biggest fan of the 6pm subdial. Nice enough, but has a look of Tudor fast rider for me. Prefer the Apollo but usually I warm up to these things. I can for sure see the appeal for some of red over yellow.

So we’ve had faux patina and now faux carbon fibre... what’s next?

Faux luxury? Oh wait...fashion brands own that one.

I still can't understand the logic of Omega calling this a 'Moonwatch' on their website. Way too many Speedmasters called "Moonwatches" that have nothing in common with the original. This one is just weird.

All these watches make us feel over the moon. That is why i think.

I dream that somebody will buy Omega out of the Swatch group one day and stop this madness.

Why? I don't want them to become rolex. I'm not happy with this watch but I'm sure it'll bring alot of others joy and happiness so why do I want to prevent that from happening.

I’m glad they attempt these things, wasn’t for such risk taking we would never have the Apollo 8 DSOM which is imo perfect!

I’m going to have to agree. The Apollo 8 was perfect, this is a disaster.

I'm not opposed for Omega to try new things, (with some kind of moderation or respect for their history) that's how we got the beauty that is the Apollo 8. But as soon as they notice any watch that is a success (in this case the Apollo8) they try to capitalize on it with yet another ridiculous limited edition based on it... what doest the Speedmaster has to do with anything near water? And that rushed and tacky design just hurts the image of the Apollo 8.
