Submariner vs Seamaster 300 Request

I can ask this here because I'm on the Omega Forum but I'm surprised everyone makes threads that show Submariner vs Speedmaster. I figure it's because both of these pieces are iconic but I think the submariner vs seamaster 300 is more accurate. Other then the vintage look of the 300 both are seen as dress divers.

I'd like to see a review of both of these reviewed together.

Isn't that Ursula Undress? What a waist👍 but wasted on that Bond bloke.

It is Ursula Andress, but as another female voice here I'll agree with MeganFox-- no one's wasted on Sean Connery...

I've seen comparison reviews of the SM 300 and the sub but I didn't save them. I'm Google can deliver.

I love Daniel Craig too...I still think "Cowboys & Aliens " was his 5th James Bond movie....

Let's Not talk about Pierce Brosnan & the defacto James Bond SM 300 . I always thought Brosnan was a Wussy.....

Casino Royale is my favorite Bone movie off all time. As much I like Connery his movies were fairly campy and Brosnan is way too girly. Have you seen that guy run?!

Fortunate to have both and far short of a review I would say the Sub is the most comfortable wearer of the two.

I only recently took delivery of my SM300MC so I cannot offer a valid comparison (with my Sea Dweller) just yet...
...but at least a couple of photos of two very, very nice divers 😎

Slightly bit OT, but I've been rotating between a Sub 14060 and an SMP (both older versions, but similar comparison)

Sub Pros:
- larger crown so easy to operate
- works better with straps
- drilled lugs!
- more suitable if you're equal parts dressy and casual

SMP Pros:
- larger, more modern case size
- more interesting case design
- 1120 movement easy to service anywhere
- more suitable if you're mostly casual

I own both a SubC Date and a SM300 MC. In order to do a proper review, I'll have to take a lot of photos and write some lengthy text. I will be happy to do so, but I don't think I can get to it and do the topic justice for another couple of weeks or so. (I have a lot to say, and I don't want to do a rush job.) If everyone can be patient, I will tackle this (but not on video - ugh!). When it's done, I will let everyone know, and I'll post it on the Reviews section.

Funny because I'm debating this myself right now....I need a diver as my go to everyday watch. I'm a big Omega fan but have always appreciated the Rolex Sub No Date. In my opinion, the Roles Sub seem seems to hold its value better and be an iconic classic. The newer seamster mc is a great throwback with awesome new technology, but in person, lacked a certain wow factor (at least for me) which lead to the Omega 300 Diver/PO vs Rolex Sub debate. I can't tell you one over the other because I haven't decided myself yet, but I'll say if you want vintage design with newest technology...you can't beat the Seamster 300 MC....if you want kind of classic design and reliable and great movement still... go rolex SubC....if you were considering an older Rolex I'd say you have classic design and great movement, but your trading a new watch and modern technology movement/anti-magnetism for a classic go to. I, myself, am still debating a new Diver 300 vs older Rolex 14060.

Interesting..is your assessment based on both the watch and the band and how they feel on your wrist?
I wore a friend's sub on its original band once. Still think my old sm300, on a mesh band, is more comfortable, for me at least
