( so I don’t have to break their little hearts and tell them the watches they linked are rubbish )

Ok, clearly @STANDY is trying to wrestle his Seiko from the bowels of yet another croc, so I’ll help this one along.

This one has lingered here and I can’t for the life of me figure out why. Whenever we get a new member who wants a gold 50’s seamaster- this is what they visualize- hell, this is the epitome of cool 50’s Seamasters- who doesn’t love a date at 6?!?!

i have a date-at-6 that i've had for several years that needs some TLC, aftermarket second hand, and some dial patina, but a sharp case and lugs and haven't seen another dial with pleasure dots. 😉

previous owner wrist cheese was added at no additional cost. will need to find an oem crown too.

If I hadn’t of just spent $350 on another hobby I would buy this just to stop a dealer buying it and flogging it for double within a week.

I agree. I posted this on the bargain thread as well. The style is not everyone's taste, but if a person liked the look they would be a fool not to buy it.
