the caseback is really cool and would have been something special instead of „just“ red letters! i‘m glad the dial is without rocket, i like it clean

Here are some obfuscated photos of the original TinTin prototype you can ask to see at the museum. What a shame we never got the rocket and that caseback!
(I did not take these photos I was sent them by a guy who knew a guy who knew a guy who took these photos and he took them at the Omega museum and had to obfuscate them by Omega apparently):

That fits pretty good to the Post from Page 67: https://omegaforums.net/threads/speedy-tintin-information-gathering.33387/page-67#post-971942

Wow, if the font was indeed like on this sketch, that watch would be a smash hit! Looks amazing even with the rocket! Well, this supposed watch its success remains to be verified... in a paralell universe

👍 Who knows if that Rocket would have got some lume...

I was also a bit worried when i purchased my tintin, so went straight to OB to check it. Turned out the sn is legit. But what was worrying to me were 2 things:
- wooden box - back then there were some implications that it was only the red box for tintin
- the unstamped card - correct one, but no AD or OB stamp on it.

Thanks to all of you showing the wooden boxes - this is no longer an issue. On the stamp however, I still wonder sometimes why is it that I somehow it never got stamped? Any ideas on this?
Mine Was correctly stamped by an AD

Alright, so having gone through the remaining 75 pages, 78 serials were only mentioned 4 additional times with one of those being a repost of the plot chart by @WurstEver

However, they were all 787, which still leaves @KnoP 's being potentially the latest recorded. What I can suggest doing is to reach out to @Archer and ask if he can run your serial to verify the reference.
Same here starting With 77

A quick PS job based on the obfuscated pictures posted by xantiagib.

I agree on what was said that this would be a lovely caseback, but I also prefer the dial without the rocket.

you used to be able to.... worth a try asking nicely at the museum. They won't let you take photos unless you let them obscure them in some way

good for you - when you put it in this context it does look like a bargain! I bought mine couple of years ago for much lower price and back then i thought to myslef that probably I'm nuts paying 2x over the retail - but what can you do when you get to know about the watch and fell in love only after a while?
