I like your answer ...

For anyone who has doubts:

How many original Tiffany, Meister, Serpico & Laino, Joyeria Ricciardi, etc. dials have you seen with the original warranty ??? I've seen very little ...... I'm not so lucky
If such watches are rated fakes only because without a warranty and because the inscription is crooked is over ......
Look at pics of original Tiffany dials and you will see that several times the written are crooked

Alfredo
Thanks Alfredo.
Do you agree that ALL Omega watches with Tiffany dials should have the OXG marking on the movement? also if the watch is solid gold should it be 14k gold for the American market and not 18k? This is what I have always thought.
Thanks Michael

In an early post the good doctor specified that the butt in question belonged to his girlfriend - and we were jealous enough of the watches already ....🙄

the only thing we can do in this case is compare the various font of the period

I think this font "western style" is confirmed from late 60's and 70's

This reminds me of an older thread:
https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-speedmaster-tiffany-co.19430/

Still i think the watch is genuine with or without Extract. I have seen the font in Speedmasters in the past.

Thanks Alfredo.

The OXG marking corresponds actually to a certain period, but if all Omega for Tiffany should have specific export code, yes.
Not all cases for Omega movements were 14K gold. I believe, no matter if if a national or a Swiss case, we should expect 18K gold too.

I used to own an 18K Longines for Tiffany, still i can't find pictures. I remember both case and movement were etched, something like: Longines, exclusively made for Tiffany. I am sure the case was made by Longines due to the matching number case/movement, so this tells Tiffany also imported complete products, not just movements.
However, not all Tiffany dials have been printed in the US. Movado printed for Tiffany. Concord too, and most likely many others.
Still i can't say how Omega dealt with Tiffany over the years.

Always interested in this topic. Would love to know if some of our friends here agree with the revolution article’s claims. I certainly don’t pretend to have the answers.

Not incidentally, it’s a shame about the ‘cowboy’ font in my opinion. It’s the Tiffany that appeals the least to me. I don’t think I’d be interested in a watch with that font, personally.
