Hi guys, I show you my speedmaster 321 ref. 105012-65 with original Tiffany dial I really like it The watch is photographed on the book " Moonwatch Only " Thanks for reading
As an owner of one, I would like to believe they are real. However I have not yet seen one documented. I would like to, does this have any confirmation it came from Tiffany?
there is a someone trying to sell his 105.012-65 MEISTER dial Speedie for $ 20'000.-- http://www.chrono24.ch/omega/speedm...ter---id1924522.htm?SETLANG=de_CH&SETCURR=USD As Tiffany is obvious a "shinier" name maybe it can fetch 40 k.... I really like it - for me it adds something special to it - even if I do never ever value such a name $ 15'000 (as the above mentioned ad implicates).
Well, this watch has been seen by important collectors, it's published on the book " Moonwatch only " , it has an Extract from the Archives of Omega and and the most important thing ...... I don't like fake watches
I like this font much better than the western/cowboy style recently seen for sale elsewhere. I absolutely believe this is real.
William, is the Tiffany on yours printed using the same font as this one? Am I correct in assuming these dials were printed during production and not after delivery?
I thought I have read here that extracts were suspect if they are older ones because Omega would let you fill in a lot of the details, and they would just regurgitate what you wrote on the extract they issued at this time. So would it not depend if the extract was issued recently or not? Just curious about this for all extracts, not just this particular one... If my understanding is correct, do we have a cut off date for when the extracts are suspect?
I was thinking along the same lines as you Al. Maybe doctor steel mentioned Tiffany on his application for the extract.
Hi Al, in my experience all the extracts dating before 2010 are not reliable: Omega effectively let you fill in a lot of the details. They even reissued different extracts for the same watch at different times. Cheers, Maurice
