Hallo Forum - Speedy experts please help

Yesterday I got the Moonwatch Only book and started checking my pre-moon Speedmaster.

Here are the data of the watch:
- Movement nr. 27325xxx - Within 145.022-68 range
- Case ref 145022-68
- Calibre 861 "B1"
- Caseband "C1"
- ...........but dial C1 step with printed logo - For 145.022-69 to 74

Could it had left the factory like this or was the dial replaced.

For how long did Omega have service dials of the step type?

Looking forward to what the experts think.

Peter. Denmark

SORRY FOR THE AWFUL PICTURES

Hi Peter,

Hard to tell from your pictures, but from the typography of OMEGA and Speedmaster, this appears to be an C5 dial (Short S, short r). So, a more recent dial likely produced in the nineties.

Hope this helps.

Edit:

I can’t tell in the photos. But it appears not to be a step dial from what i see, but a modern replacement. They don’t have service step dials, to my knowledge.

Service dial (non-step) from the mid-'90s and service bezel from late '90s - present. Along with the hands (it appears).
Best-case scenario, this watch probably met an Omega service center sometime around 1997 or 1998. I think that's likely, but you may want to get an Extract on the movement just in case

It does look like the bezel and dial were both replaced sometime in the 90s. You can see the T for tritium on one side of the "Swiss Made"
