About 145.022(68?) with wrong case back

Hi everyone, thanks for all your help.

https://www.chrono24.com/omega/spee...zel--id20015069.htm?SETLANG=en_US&SETCURR=USD

The 145.022 sold with this chrono 24 is
It has a DON bezel, Applied Metal Logo Dial, and serial number 27m.
It has the features that represent the 145.022-68.
However, the case back is stamped 145.022-69.
Is this the 145.022-68 with the wrong case back?
Or is it 145.022-69 with the wrong dial and serial number?
How would you rate such a 145.022?

Looks like a wrong case back to me. The extracts never mention a transitional, but it does have the other characteristics of being one. Overpriced based on condition IMHO.

It has wrong case back for me as well.
Dial is not really in good shape for a "not so old" watch.
I believe you can easily find a nicer one with correct case back on the net.

Spacefruit writes in his article about transitionals on his website Speedmaster101, "I have seen Transitionals with -69 stamped in the back. I now believe that if a watch has the rest of the characteristics, including the serial, then if it has a -69 back it has the incorrect back."
link: https://speedmaster101.com/145-022-transitional/

The watch in question has all the characteristics of a transitional including the correct range serial number.

Is it worth $6,450?

Judge for yourself using Speedmaster101 price guide to assist ( https://speedmaster101.com/price-chart-2/)
Bezel... poor to fair condition ....4K multiple scratches not attractive
Dial... poor to fair condition...4K missing lume plots, some completely
Case... (polished, scratched, wrong caseback) poor to fair... 4K
Average for head.... 4k
Buying a correct caseback could set you back 1k plus

Now... do you think it's worth $6,450?

Thank you all for your input.
It was very helpful.
I guess the case back is not correct, 145.022-68.

I've given some thought as to why the case back is incorrect.
The Chrono 24 product description says it was serviced by Omega USA in 2018, so maybe the back was changed during the service?
If so, it makes me sad...

The Chrono 24 product page will be unavailable as soon as the watch is sold, so I'll leave other photos for the record.

Thank you very much, everyone.
