Very weird! I don’t recall ever seeing anything like that before. The fonts look close to correct though.

The 4 's and the 7's are stamped with different fonts.... Open and closed. Straight top 7 and not straight top seven. Could it be a non speedmaster mvmt.; Partly re-stamped with a different, but known speedmaster number and then re plated?

Trust your instincts is all I would suggest 😀

Hum... my inspetion (nuts on the numbers!) But look at the lack of pride in who ever serviced this watch.
All the screw heads slots are a mess.
I am too lazy to find my factory list of numbers for any more info.

Yeah, I’m guessing someone’s tried to alter the serial number

Enhanced photo

There are at least three different shades of copper in the movement bits. Maybe altered that cock (taken from another movement) to match the movement being ‘repaired’?

I’d be curious to examine it in hand, under a loupe. Nice screw head!

And the facets are almost gone on that CB case.

In my observation of the images, this is a pre-1969 moon-watch
It is a caliber 321 noted on the ballance cock.
And as noted by a previous comment, the colour is off on the different bridges.
These watches are a rose-gold plated & if you notice the gears ar not very bright.
So, the plating washes off in ultrasonic cleaning after many cleanings.
Maybe a couple movements combined?
I would pass on this one.... in my view....
