It'll soon be a year and it's become my favorite Speedmaster 🥰 I have only one issue with the watch and that's the fact that the bracelet, much like the (former) production's, has very limited expansion. I once put the watch on, went out in the Summer heat, wanted to show it to a friend and could barely get it off my wrist, lol... 😜

But other than that... it's pure awesomeness! ::psy:: Happy SpeedyTuesday 😉

Wonderful. I finally acquired one and it should be arriving soon. My fiancé suggests that I wait until our wedding date to wear it.

Yes.

Did you end up getting it through the OB, AD, or grey market?

Gray, or grey. Last month, BNIB.

I'm pretty convinced that the price of these is going to steadily increase.

Omega would make a lot more money putting these movements in the $81k Canopus gold and the $59k platinum versions rather than the $14k steel Ed White case. Right now it doesn't appear that many steel ones are hitting the market. I wonder how long the 321 production will last. But agree the prices will trend up in the future.

I just let the 321 wind down, total running time was 63 hr, 45 min, a fair bit more than the 55 hr on the spec sheet. And all of my 1861 movements run for just around 51 hrs, so pretty good performance from the new-old Cal 321.

So many desired watches, so little money. Sigh...

I agree on the limited expansion of the bracelet, I had the same problem with the Apollo 11 50th which has a similar design. You can adjust it so it's comfortable in normal use but if you go out in a humid environment it doesn't take much heat to make getting it off difficult. I wore my 321 last week doing some light lawn work and blowing leaves, decided to remove it before I got into more heavy activity but my wrist/hand had swollen just enough to make getting it off a little tricky. If Omega had provided a few more mm's length on the folding pieces it would make things a lot easier.

Cross posting from another thread of yesterday - I didn’t touch on the heat /humidity angle

On this bracelet, a warning for the those whose hands are large relative to their wrist size

the clasp itself isn’t very long, which means that when open the bracelet aperture has expanded only 3x that clasp’s short length, which isn’t a whole lot. I have decently large hands (relative to my 7 3/4+ wrists), and so it requires a bit of a tuck and squeeze to get the open bracelet over the widest part of the hand.

if my hand-to-wrist ratio were just a bit more weighted toward the hand size, I’d probably have a hard time using this bracelet.

So, if you have smaller wrists (needing the bracelet sized down to fit) compared to your larger hand size, you might consider this slight fitment oddity of the NEW321 bracelet.

Yes, this, 100% perfect clarification of the base problem with this bracelet 👍
