ADs keep calling and asking if I want one but I’ve said no every time. #buzzbutt

How about giving the buy opportunity to someone here? Where are you located?

I own the Steel version and funny enough, I am wearing it today! I enjoy wearing mine on the cork strap. I'd post photos, but can't use portable electronic devices in my office. It's super comfortable, and incredibly light! It's a beautiful watch that I could stare at all day. I honestly don't even pay attention to Buzz's butt (like people who dislike the watch state). It has multiple presentations depending on how the light shines on it. If you can see one in person to help inform your decision...you will probably grab one for yourself. Good luck!
I had asked someone else about the cork. Mine is sitting in the box because I fear it isn’t substantial enough to hold the watch. You seemed to have pulled it off. It’s that good? What about the fear of Velcro failure and dropping the watch?

Never had any velcro failures, not an issue. Velcro is very secure.

Thanks. I’ve never used it for a watch. Just deployments and tangs.

When I saw it in the box I kept thinking I’d snag the Velcro and pull the watch off my hand. I know it’s an unreasonable fear but the thought of dropping a 9k watch...

the movement is incredibly accurate, good increase in power reserve, bracelet is sublime! though the weight is noticeable on my admittedly smaller than average wrist

Update:
The full gold version is not possible to get anymore from Omega AD’s&Boutiques.
1014 pieces—completely sold out.
Makes my decision a lot easier...

Yeah, both sold out. I should be getting the steel version, but golden Omega seems to be impossible to get from AD.

Bought mine from an AD last Friday in Norwich, UK - not 100% but believe an AD in Cambridge had one also... I could give them a call tomorrow to check @FinWatch?

You mean steel or full gold version? I should be getting the steel version from my AD—the full gold I am interested in getting from AD, if possible (ref. 310.60.42.50.99.001).

UPDATE:
I made a decision. My AD called.
INCOMIIIING!!!!!
So far the best Speedmaster that I’ve had. And I was first very skeptical, I thought that I am not going to get one. The Buzz’s butt...
But once I experienced the watch personally, I fell in love rightaway! The bracelet is so comfortable, the watch is full of historical references. On the dial the actual moment is captured when Speedmaster transformed into The Moonwatch. The package... woooooow. I feel so lucky to get one!!! I feel like being part of the history with the Moonwatch Apollo 11 50th Ann.!
