Thank you to all for keeping this thread on an engagement mode. I鈥檓 learning a lot from the conversation.

I certainly would love to have them both. Likewise, I would love to have both the Snoopy and the 60th.

For now I鈥檓 contented on having the 60th for both,

Tell that to the Silver Snoopy 馃槨

Yes, people seem to have lost their minds on the Snoopy. That watch sat in shelves at the OB for a long time as well. Same with the Alsaka Project, which is on my list but too over hyped.

I thought the Snoopy that came out a few years ago was sold out pretty quick and almost none sat on the shelves.

How about a side by side of the 300 master coaxial (that specter bastardized) vs the 60th anniversary?

Good idea. And when you compare all three, keep in mind the price of the 300 master coaxial is about half for a watch that is gorgeous and has an amazing movement.

Not according to my OB.

But they could be hyping it up as well

Uhhhh. No.

That is news to me, I wasn't in the market for one so went off of what the OB said. AP sat around though no?

You know there were 2 Snoopies right? The first was made in pretty large numbers and didn鈥檛 sell out immediately. The second sold quicker.

I always say buy what you like and who cares what others think? They are both great watches and I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with either one as long as it makes you smile. I chose the Spectre b/c it ticked all the boxes for me when I bought it. I liked the vintage look, the Nato, the tie to Bond and the fact Bond or 007 wasn't splashed all over the front of it like other versions. I still wear it frequently and don't see it leaving my collection. Good luck with your choice!

Thank you all for chiming in. Kudos to the Spectre SM 300 owner.

Here is a wrist shot of my SM 300 60th Anniversary Edition which I鈥檓 loving it. Omega did right on this one.

No right or wrong answers. But glad to know most are favorably veered on the 60th.

Wow, I thought we were going to reach the bottom of page 1 without a single photo!!

Love the spectre great watch and can be worn on NATO or bracelet and still look amazing.

Had the opportunity to compare both of these side by side this morning. The LE is mine, the Spectre borrowed for the pics. First impressions are that the Spectre isn't as big lug to lug or side to side as I expected and indeed doesn't feel all that much bigger than the nominally 39mm LE. However, the thickness of the twin barrel 8400 movement is telling and the NATO adds yet more depth so if it were mine, there is no way I would wear the Spectre on the NATO as it would find every door jamb, just look how high it sits vs the bracelet! The lollipop just looks great in the flesh and I am a bit torn but not sure I would be happy to pay the extra, what, couple of grand over the LE to get the Bond watch.

great comparison shots, but I wish we could have seen the Spectre with the bracelet so it's a more fair comparison....
Another thing for me is the dial text. Look how nicer the numbers are on the LE version.

I wasn't really in a position to insist it was put onto the bracelet, but you can hopefully grasp the biggest difference seems to be in the depth, regardless of bracelet or strap. It's the logo and Seamaster text on the Spectre I really can't get on with. It looks like when the fakers do it, ie far larger than it should be and too obvious. It was done much better on the LE.

Looking at the pictures, I have to say pretty conclusively that I would pass on both. Get the standard Seamaster 300m Master Coaxial and save a nice chunk of change you can put towards something else.

Were I choosing between the two I'd go with the 60th. Spectre has some issues for me. Lollipop hand is very overrated. Worse still they eliminated the "12" and put that oversized logo and text. Not to mention they made 7000+ of them.
