Having recently chosen the SM300LE60 over the SM300MC, for me, one factor was that the LE has some design details that make it more distinguishable from a certain other diver that I have and do not plan to part with...
If I didn't have this other dive watch, then I would have chosen the MC.

I like the comparison of these two watches and it shows how different the SM 300LE is with the other divers. Omega did right on this LE.

Ok have got both in front of me and got a calliper.

________________________LE ______ Spectre
Depth inc crystal (mm) - __14.3 _______ 14.9
Depth of case (mm) -_____ 11.5 _______12.55

Thanks for this. I am keeping my eye on the LE (Spectre just isn't me) and that's roughly what I would have guessed. Now I can proceed with a little more confidence.

The only thing that is holding me back on the LE is whether they might release another one similar. I own one Omega but don't follow the brand religiously. I take it they don't issue 39mm Seamaster 300s with this kind of vintage vibe very often? Also, I'm wondering how much more value will I get by holding out a bit longer.

The 60th all the time. The Spectre, like other modern Omegas, are way to thick

Thanks for reviving the post. The detailed stats of the two models are very informative.

I don’t think Omega will again produce something so similar to the original Seamaster 300 of 1957 again.
