Some knowledge on bumper just after WOII

Hi, thanks In advance for some advice. My oldest Omega is a Connie from 1959. I said to myself that I also need a bumper in the collection. I saw the watch below. Is it time correct that this logo is painted? No view on serial / insight yet but it is supposed to be from just after WOII. Thanks!

Condition would make it a pass for me, pretty rough even if it were an original dial.

I am not sure it is a redial. It is also a matter of price. It is affordable. Say usd 450 max, what do you think with that price?

Unless it's solid gold it should be under $200.

Well, you are clearly not in the more expensive part of Europe.... 😉

Anybody know a the relevant years behind this number? I tried to find it in the omega history and on google and did not succeed.

And gold plated, not solid.

Looks like a re-dial to me, especially the sub-dial. However, even if original, there's not much to like about this watch at any price, it's very unappealing. Keep your eyes open and you can find some nice SS 30mm-movement (30T2, 26x) examples in the $500 USD range with patience. Not jumbo references, but in 35mm cases.

At the very least, the subdial has been repainted, no question in my mind!
Note the difference between the 10 and 11 subdial markers and note that the 6 marker is off-center and closer to the right hand second marker than the left hand.

Norman, X350 XJR, and Dan S are among the most knowledgeable collectors in the hobby. I have followed Norman for many years and every time I have questioned his judgement, I have been wrong!

If you like the look for a daily wearer, see the movement to evaluate.

If you live in an expensive part of Europe, buy elsewhere!
30mm watches are quite beautiful and I admire your taste.

The Wadsworth Case numbers are hard to track and are somewhat inconsequential as it is not an Omega case.
The movement serial number tells us more and will likely be 10,xxx,xxx or possibly, 11,xxx,xxx.

Happy Holidays and welcome!
