Here is a rare, all original variation of the classic cal. 333 OMEGA bumper Chronometre. As many collectors know, these Rg (fine regulator) chronometres were the last of the large 30mm bumper movements, and featured special finishing on a number of parts.

The reason that I characterize this particular example as "rare", is because it features a pink gold bezel and crown, matching the dial furniture and hands. I have only seen a couple of these over many years of following the market for 333 chronometres, and the 333 is an uncommon reference in any variation.

The 333 came in three basic versions, the gold Centenary ref. 2500, 2516/17 in a thick Seamster-style case, and this 2515 reference, which is essentially a thinner, more elegant version, and very similar to the Centenary except that it is steel.

The case measures 35mm, but wears a touch larger thanks to the narrow bezel.

Though I make no claims of accuracy, this watch was serviced around two years ago.

It's always tough to price watches which so rarely appear on the market, but I ask $1600 or NRO, and will ship EMS (express) from my home in Portugal at my asking price. This is, frankly, remarkably good value for one of Omegas historically important bumper chronometres, and especially given the relative rarity of the variation.

Overall the watch is conservatively in very good condition. I believe the case to be unpolished. The two-tone dial is attractive, but there are are a couple of small, dark smudges on the sub-dial, easily seen in the photos, which I suspect could possibly be removed with sensitive cleaning.

I can accept bank transfers in Europe or the U.S., and Paypal is also acceptable.

Feel free to ask any questions!

Regards,

Tony C.
