Mine is the beginning of my email address which I've had for years. Can't remember specifically why I chose it but I was a medical photographer. Now "retired". The avatar pic is from the exhibition halls at Baselworld, taken last year while there. 😀

With the seamaster neptunus cloissone at 250k, I Wouldn't surprise if original observatory cloissone could fetch more than 300k today.

OK, my name is Bill. Awhile ago I was joining a car forum and such an uncommon name was taken. So I just added my age. Somewhere it morphed to to 5959. No idea why. The avatar is a photo I took in Bwindi impenetrable forest. I just love the big guy relaxing while smoking only natural products. At least that's what I want to believe. 😀 I hope he is still there. Regards.

Name: 'blu' represents law enforcement career (40 years), 'finz' for being a parrothead and '52' for year I was born.
Avatar: TV show Route 66 that ran from 1960 to 1964. I loved the show as a young kid and turned me into a fan of corvettes. Here's the theme music from the show. Brings me back to the old days every time

Boringly, allantt is just from my first name, initial and surname initial. The avatar is a still of me from the film "Daybreakers" that starred Ethan Hawke, Willem DaFoe and Sam Neill. It was one of several films I've been in as a sometime actor. Now that I am retired I hope to do more, to get money to buy watches.

Hi all,

My user name stems from my obsession for my breed of choice the Dobermann and to that the fact that I was into working and training of protection dogs and the Police call their dog handlers Dogman and a with play of words you end up with Dogmann with two N's as a homage to the two N's in Dobermann. My avatar is a picture of the last Dobermann I was guardian to, a rare Albino Dobermann.

Shem is part of my last name and a nickname given to me by my friends in high school. No funny story around this one. 😜

User name:
Styggpyggeno1 =
Stygg = mean or naughty
Pygge = local suburban slang for pygmy = small = in this case a small late 1950-ies moped - common and popular to customize in my youth (70-ies)
No1 = because after I built it in the late 90-ies (yeah, I got a little nostalgic over my younger days and built one again) there has been a lot of copies of it here in Sweden. There can only be one No1...

My avatar:
I have been into vintage boats almost all my life. Avatar is showing a 1929 Chris Craft. I sold it in May. Maybe I should get at new avatar… and a new vintage boat...

The Pygge I had when I was 13

The one I built in the late 90-ies

That later got to be mean = Styggpygge

Avatar pic is early in the restoration (10 years ago) - showing ugly white bottom.

Later it got a more appropriate colour - but as I wrote - since May it has a new owner.

As a kid, i wanted to either be Hulk or Thor and loved Thors weapon, 'Mjolnir'. Ive also been a supporter of Chelsea Football Club since i was 16 (now 34). You add those two things together and you get my username, 'Mjolnir CFC'.

Thor is a woman now though and she wields Mjolnir. The original Thor has gone back to using the Dwarven Axe Jarnbjorn - a pretty powerful weapon since it has the ability to wound a celestial.

More obvious now than ever how new I am to this forum thing. I put my real picture and real name. I may have to get creative....
