Mine's from an episode of Futurama:

Leela: Look, I don't wanna be in this exhibit. That's why I need your help. So I can be one tiny iota less pathetic than you.
Aaron Jr.: Oh, I can't help you play better than Tiny Iota. That guy was great.

Well if mine is not over obvious I am a man from the north.... Actually in my native language, Norwegian, a man from our country Norway is named a "Nordmann", directly translated (if not entirely correct) it will read Northernman. 馃槵 I did have to come up with something.....
As for my avatar I have been using a few, but decided one of my Lemanias had to do. I have a love relationship with that brand.

I'm originally from West Monroe Louisiana and that's where I have spent most of my life. Interstate 20 goes directly by my house. That's where i20rider comes from

And for the avatar I'm a competitive shooter.

I detect the hand of Steve in the new avatar.

Bet you can't guess the user name. The avatar was a chunk of metal in the box of the first Zenith I bought - 23 Zeniths later and it is still the only such chunk of metal I've got.

Mine comes from two places:

1. It's been my e-mail address since 1989 and

2. It's a combination of my university's nickname and my profession.

'Traveler' for two reasons. I spend half my time in the US and half in the UK, so a lot of time in planes. I think Presidential Code Names are a very cool concept - when I joined a 'James Bond' community forum a few years back I was thinking about adopting one as a user name. Around the same time I saw the Eastwood movie 'In the Line of Fire'... the POTUS code name in it is Traveler so it seemed very appropriate. The avatar is a photo my daughter took of my 1938 Czech pilot Longines, which I post pictures of when ever I have the slightest excuse...

name: it is a loose english translation from my name. 7 is my number, more than just lucky number.

avatar: I always fascinated with vintage early years Connies especially Deluxes and Grand Luxes. So when I visited Omega museum last year, I saw this decoration either commemorating Omega Connies achievement or window advertising tools. I think it looks cool, hence source of my avatar.

The avatar is a picture of a sunrise looking from St Thomas towards St John in the US Virgin Islands. We have been going there a few times a year for vacation recently and really enjoy hanging out there on the beach.

The name is from my oldest boy, when he was young he would call out "Taddyangle". We never did figure out why he did this or what it meant. But it stuck with us.

Connie Gold Cal 352 is rare but still available from time to time. Cal 352 WITH Observatory Cloissone Dial is another matter.
If you got either (platinum brick or Observatory cloissone), I need to reserve ticket to US pronto, probably to pick your lesser RG brick 馃榿

Pretty mundane. I'm Jim

and my avatar is to remind me to support one of my charities, and maybe get others to as well.

Years ago a mod had loaded a pic of my UG Polerouter Sub as my avatar. The avatar I just changed to is the avatar I use everywhere else. It matches my userid, I'm Ray from MN with a Ducati 916. It is unclear whether motorcycles and motorcycling or watches are a bigger hobby for me.
