Squirrels, sikorskies, fat redhead guys (looking at you, ConElPueblo), random logos...what's the story with your avatar? I've been avatar hopping since I came on board, but always boxing themed....one of my passions.
I play old-time fiddle in several groups. My avatar is a “still-life” taken at a local historical park one morning, when we played at an outdoor breakfast.
https://omegaforums.net/threads/so-whats-the-story-behind-your-user-name-and-avatar.18835/ The story of my user name is in the above thread. I don't know how I became The Squirrel, but I'm sure that @cicindela and @gatorcpa had something to do with it. It's stuck and grown on me so I've embraced it. My original avatar was a recycling symbol with the Omega logo inside, then when the whole squirrel deal started Steve / cicindela mocked me up the Clark Kent / SuperSquirrel unzipping the street clothes to reveal the SuperSquirrel Omega logo on my SuperSquirrel outfit. Kinda funny even now. After my hiatus, I had to put a new avatar. I think the picture and slogan below suits me to a tee.
I used to be an avid 1970s Braun LCD watch fan and my avatar is a 1978 Braun DW20. My full Braun LCD watch story here......................... http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?371018-The-1970s-Braun-DW20-and-Braun-DW30-LCD-digital-watches
Couldn't find my old, well worn one when starting a profile, just grabbed one of doggo, not bothered changing it. I've heard paint drying is quite interesting..
When I joined, if you didn't set your avatar in a matter of days, one was given. Ulackfocus branded me with this one.
I'd been drinking the night before and in a whatsapp chat with friends I'd sent this pic of my magic hangover cure. It was on my mind when I decided a vague question mark was very boring. I'll change it to something watch related soon.
No story really. Just like the Minions and I thought the quote was fitting..."Just because it's a bad idea, doesn't mean it's not going to be a good time." Here, hold my beer......
Been a Gasman since 1967 even got a GAS registration on my car. Was given this avatar by a forum member here.
Visiting my parents on Vancouver island, Canada. "Cathedral Grove". The biggest trees in the forest are up to 800 years old and measure 75 m in height to 9 m around!
