A good belt is the foundation of carrying a gun as it will allow you to carry with comfort and confidence. Personally, I don't understand why anyone would ever buy a cheap, flimsy belt, regardless of application.
My own belt that I have used every day since my fathers death in 1981 and he used probably every day since he purchased it in the early 70's is 1 3/4 inches by about 5/32 thick heavily tooled and incised in that swinging 60's 70's style but perfect for any occasion guns included.

Going back to Noelekal's topic of old gun leather, here is my 68 Colt DS with an old Bucheimeir paddle holster.

It would be great to see a photograph of that belt.

The blaster is a POF Renegade Plus. It's technically my wifes. We were lucky to know Frank Desomma and it was given to us. . Its running the SRO on top with the jagerwerks Bros guard , Tlr1 HL and steiner Dbal on the end. The pvs14 has the Gen iii L3 UWP. Tube.

We actually got about 12 that night but didn't get any pics. This one was probably about the largest at around 135lbs. Not too big. He was at about 9 ft and really pissed off. So 135lbs is big enough for me lol. As for the watch. Can't be having my supper bright lume running off my pigs as I creep through the field haha

Sounds slick. Rough stroke of fate that befell Mr. Desomma.

Should be another week or three for my receiver to arrive. I haven't forgotten that I've promised to submit a final rig photo for you. The only thing it'll be missing for now is the EXPS-3 and (in a perfect world) the MAWL-C1. Just not in the budget for this year. Well...the EOTech can probably be had. We'll see if I have to move again

Yea Meyers is nice stuff. But dayun they are proud of it. The new UH1 has a NV setting now. May want to check it out. Also. I have the R1X on a new rig I'm building now. And it also has NV options. It's good if you like a small dot with a big window

Saw a nice comparison video where they pitted the hws against the uh1. The hws did prevail, but I was pleasantly surprised at the uh1. Still, I'm less of a red dot guy and favor the holo group.

Grip module arrived. Didn't change the overall footprint of the weapon, but did get rid of the annoying seam where the extended mag met the grip. Can pinch badly on a reload...ask me how I know...

Anyway, nice and comfortable now. Great upgrade for the money (less than $100).

The first picture is the pistol as it was. The second and third are of either side after the conversion.

Also playing with some bits. I think I'll ultimately move the remote switch over to the LH side so that I can just squeeze it with the pad of my palm.

Lovely Austin 7 you have, what year is it?

Austin 10-4 1934, sold it a little while ago to fund an apartment purchase in China, the car itself was a full nut and bolt restoration to concourse standard.

The surefire pressure pads leave a lot to be desired however they work ok
In this picture this was the best setup for my needs

Like to see gun belts. I'm amazed at folks who tote side arms with flimsy belts not made for the task. Then they complain about comfort.
Here is a picture of my favorite gun belt this one is from Ken Null the buckle is Kens design it works very well the belts with this buckle type hold up very well. Regular belt buckles normally mess up the end of the belt near the belt holes that is caused from too much bending of the leather putting the belt on and off. This belt also has a kydex stiffening insert in the belt it is one tough belt

After seeing the picture of the holster belt with 6+ years plus of patina and funky stuff it was time to recondition the belt and buckle
Good to go for another 6 years
