I think I have about 40 odd airguns in my collection, must hunt up some photos.
I bought them when I was on a lifestyle block to control Possums, Rabbits and other pest critters such as Magpies. Why buy one when 40 will do? Oh thats the same as my watch collection why buy one when you can have 200 馃檮

control Possums
For why? They're not "pest critters", they eat "pest critters". Normally I don't make value judgements, but I would hope that you will investigate what possums actually are like rather than what some fools believe.

Yes in their countries of origin they are not pests and live in harmony with their environment but here in New Zealand they constitute far more than just pest status but a major threat to the local wildlife driving many native species to extinction, in fact the New Zealand government has instituted a policy (it'll never succeed) to eradicate every Possum in the country by 2050 and there are estimated to be well over 70 million in a study done several years ago and this figure is climbing every year.

'Possums will certainly be pests on occasion. I've taken them in the chicken coop when I was a kid and have in Mrs. Noelekal's hens now. They're opportunists and like both eggs and grown hens.

Well there's me being a complete dumbass and assuming too much. You folks and your neighbors in Australia have been screwed over by well-meaning idiots for centuries. Please accept my apology.

What you think of as possums are not what is in NZ and Oz. Very different from the Virginia opossum that you would be familiar with, and that we now have here...

What nvgs you running
Gen3 autogated Harris unfilmed white phosphor. Monocular. I prefer one eye natural to using goggles, but both setups have pros & cons IMO.

Here is a site everyone interested in airguns should explore.
http://cinedux.com/dong-ki-air-rifle.php
Here is an example of the super neat and rare airguns on that site.
A side cocking spring piston near perfect replica of the M1 carbine.

Some company should resurrect that gun. I'm sure it would sell like hotcakes. I'd certainly be one of the first to buy one.

Perhaps one of the finest competition production spring air rifles ever made.
The TX200 MK III 0.177 cal
This particular one was set up for 12 Ft/Lb with fully worked internals and a nice Jim Maccarri custom walnut stock and performance parts that had it win many HFT competitions in years past.

Not to derail the airguns theme of late, but I saw this last night and am very seriously considering this modification to my stock p365. Thought some of you might enjoy.

I think this might just be the most perfect pistol I've ever owned. Flawless execution. The only pistol I've ever shot where I would change absolutely nothing.

Outstanding value proposition, just wasn't for me. I think it was the trigger group and the contour of the grip that were minuses for me. But it did shoot well. End of the day, if you can comfortably carry and effectively shoot the platform it's a winner.

Update: I've ordered the grip module and floor plates to make this happen. I'll post before & after pics after I receive the goods.

Also, we've talked a lot about holsters here and I think I've made a mention of Versacarry belts. But here's a brand new one I just received. You can see the thickness in the second shot. Really a nice product and even dressy enough to wear out on more formal occasions. Also pictured is the Sig in question, awaiting it's upgrade/modification.

Like to see gun belts. I'm amazed at folks who tote side arms with flimsy belts not made for the task. Then they complain about comfort.

Exactly. These belts are an investment in your comfort, but more importantly in safety. A proper gun belt and a quality holster will be as comfortable as it gets. This one will hold up for many years. I can just tell!

A good belt is the foundation of carrying a gun as it will allow you to carry with comfort and confidence. Personally, I don't understand why anyone would ever buy a cheap, flimsy belt, regardless of application.
