Snoopy 50th Anniversary vs 321: Which would you prefer?

Not much action, or talk, these days on people getting, or not getting, a 321 or a Snoopy. Anybody getting any satisfaction one way or another?

Are there still people out there with significant deposits waiting for delivery?
Friend recently got a Snoopy from OB in Vegas. Approximately 3 months ago I believe. I have been waiting on a EW for 2 years. I have given up hope it's coming and probably will find a nice pre owned somewhere.

It totally freaking sucks. My OB gets maybe one Snoopy a month and 5-10 EWs a year

Interesting! My local OB had a Snoopy on display, but said they only see 1-2 Ed Whites a year. And it looks like there roughly twice as many Snoopys available on the secondary market vs. the Ed White.

I was on the list at the Houston OB for an EW321 for like 3 years. I was hoping to get it for my 40th bday a couple years ago but the whole management team turned over and it never came. At this point I’ve given up on getting it and moved on.

My OB sent me this encouragement about getting on a list for the Snoopy and EW:

I think that this is a tough choice. I keep going back and forth, but ultimately the 321 would just about win out if I could only afford one. However, if I had the money for more… Snoopy with a vintage 321 from the 60s, probably a 145.012.

For me, the Ed White would be an everyday piece and the Snoopy would be a, when I feel like it piece.

Both,

because both are great - better get both and wear them alternately. Best way to enjoy them as much as possible.

I would be first on the list at my OB if I felt like paying 18k for the 321. They offered me one on NYE last year and I passed to wait on the Snoopy, which came February 1. For the forseeable future I will content myself with my four 3861s. All four current ones.

For me it is definitely the Snoopy. I grew up with the Peanuts cartoons and the comics, which I loved. And I still watch A Charlie Brown Christmas every year!! On top of that I was born on October 5th, the date the Silver Snoopy award was given to Omega. The Ed White is a fine watch with a great looking movement. But what's life without a little whimsy. And since my Christmas tree is coming down today, here is a quick pic with a few of the ornaments.

I would agree with that. I hardly ever wear my snoopy to work.
