Blue sailcloth straps are going to be in demand.

Been rocking a blue sailcloth strap for years.

I like it a lot especially after watching the omega video on it and added my name to one at a local mayors. Might sell off my PAM111 to make room for the new snoopy & one more item I’m thinking but the new Blue w silver dial really pops for me on this one plus it will look great w the new Blue BB58 I had picked up at a local AD earlier last month.

Love the watch! Hopefully deliveries aren't too far away so we can start seeing wrist shots on here 😀 One question though, why isn't little Snoopy centred on the sub-dial?? Just so you can see more of him?

that makes the most sense. Otherwise people will say why is there a hole in snoopy.

That's one of the attractions of blue for me, the way it changes depending on the light, especially when it goes almost dark to suddenly blue with a slight twist towards the light. May not be everyone's cup of tea but i like that.

Still, we almost need to see it in the flesh to see if it works.

Honestly at this point, with all we know about the watch, it's not a deal breaker if you ask me.
Beside the movement, it feels more like an overall downgrade compared to the previous Snoopy.

Less Lume, less text on the dial, no handmade silver Snoopy engraved on the back that gave the watch something truly unique, almost 3 000 $ more expensive than the 45th and not even a Limited Edition.

I mean, just in terms of pure value, for the same price and with a perspective of investment (not saying in a perspective of resale, but just a matter of the watch keeping or even earning value through time), if I had the choice between a Submariner or this Snoopy, it woul be the Sub every day.
But if I had the choice between a Sub or even a Daytona and a 45th Snoopy, it would be the last one in a blink.

The 50th is cool but nothing more if you ask me

It could turn out to be a very reasonable deal if this thing sky-rockets in the future 😗👍

not a fan of the blue in that top photo (real light) at all vs the release pic

Are we sure the Fratello image hasn’t been saturation or vibrancy adjusted? Like said, would have to see it in reality

Not a real watch collector, but a huge NASA fan.

So I bought the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary (stainless steel) . . . my first "real" watch. Since then I have come to appreciate the incredible NASA Speedmaster history. But I also still love all the NASA "gimmicks" on that 50th anniversary watch

So, speaking from a NASA fan only, how can you not love the Snoopy case back on this new release ? That image of the Earth and Moon alone looks stunning, but the CSM moving along is so much fun. Exactly what a NASA fan like me wants . . . not another boring, pretentious watch.

Obviously the rest of the watch is another updated version of the Speedmaster . . . certainly not bad and I happen to like the blue and white, but thats personal. So I will be getting one . . . . and that will probably complete my NASA watch collection

But I'm in no rush this time. My guess is these will eventually be easily available in the boutiques and other retailers.

Pretty much where I'm at and I also have the A11 50th... so many more watches to drawl over 😗

I still ponder over a straight writing case back Speedy circa 1969 but very happy with just having the Apollo 11 50th and eventually, hopefully a Snoopy 50th piece to sit along side it 👍

You have to keep in mind that there is precious metal in this watch...in this case silver. Omega always charges more for precious metals. An exact replica of the Snoopy award on the front is quite nice. Besides, the movement on the rear is refreshing vs. a standard on with an engraving.
