Hey There Everyone. Just noticed the wonderful thread on the Flight Master. Undeniably the grandfather of the Z33. Just wondering if anybody Loves it as much as I do. It is a very polarizing watch...I find people either love it or hate it simply on the case alone. Too bad, because it in my opinion a very useful tool Watch
With a bit of attitude! Comments?

If I had an infinite amount of money in my back skyrocket then I would definitely go for one of these but as I am only a lowly paid school teacher then I would prioritize other watches that would likely get more wrist time. But I do like the funky design.

I was really fortunate that mine was a previously loved watch that I acquired in Japan. The watch was in pristine condition with the original box and all docs.
I believe I paid somewhere around $3-3.5 k after all said and done. A new one at the OB runs around $6 k . So it pays to always look and research your picks.
Plus a Fair amount of Luck helps too. I’ve found that the Japanese tend to sell items in very very good condition. They are embarrassed if something has a fault.
Also their pricing seems very reasonable in what they ask.

I’ve tried it on so many times... and walked away each and every time, because of the price.

Titanium on titanium would be my choice, were prices to be a touch more reasonable.

They are incredibly cool. I especially like the ambient lighting feature on the red digital display. Mine has the brown leather strap. I was unsuccessful in adapting
A black gator strap onto it ...issues with the lug sizes. Dang! Look on Chrono 24... or perhaps even EBay or other online sites. You might find a bargain. Good luck. Good Hunting!

If I had an infinite amount I would still buy something less silly. Throwback boat anchor/door jamb finder delete as applic*.

*I speak as one who hates the early '70s Flightmaster type case. If you don't ignore or pour scorn on me.

if you had an infinite amount of money, just imagine how silly you could be!

Hey the MIB theme as an alarm could be kind of cool. Hahaha! And yes it’s not
Everyones’ cup of tea. But it is fun to wear, and really has a number of useful
Programs. Plus, if you can get a pre-loved one at a good price why not? I do understand your sentiments though- the case is polarizing but WTF factor is fun.

Hello everybody.

After 6 years, I am reviving this post.

Why?

I am in joyful anticipation.

Of what?

The arrival of my Omega Spacemaster Z-33.

I'll definitely create a separate post about it.

See you then and there.

Kind regards
Smilla
