I certainly hope Omega will release another Snoopy Speedy. And hopefully the hype will die down by that time. I was late in the game but yes I鈥檓 one of those that will buy because of snoopy.

I remember probably 4 years back one BNIB being for sale on my local language watch forum for 2.7k, thought it was pretty expensive for this weird albino speedmaster. I suppose everyone would like to have time machine at times 馃榾

馃槙 this watch confuses me 馃槙. Didn't like it on release. Don't like it still. Impressed by its rapid rise in price. If only it was Linus on the subdial. I would have been all in....

I saw one sold not long ago, price unknown. The ask was $18,000 but nobody but the participants know the actual selling price.

I picked one up about 2 months ago. Price was so good, I didn鈥檛 even try to negotiate. I do wish I would鈥檝e picked one up the beginning of 2017. I thought the 10-12k price at that time was to much. ::facepalm1:: Hindsight is always 20/20.

Today both Fratello (https://www.fratellowatches.com/how...-snoopy-paved-the-way-for-speedy-speculators/) and Revolution (https://www.revolution.watch/5-reasons-everybody-wants-the-omega-speedmaster-silver-snoopy/) made articles about the Silver Snoopy. Looks like it's even getting more and more exposures.

"....it became interesting for speculators to order them, also the previous limited or special editions were sought after in a strange and unnatural way. Think Alaska Project from 2008 for example, a watch that didn鈥檛 move that quick at first, but since a few months fetches prices around $12000USD and more. The Japanese racing model is another and the prices for the Tintin model are going up rapidly as well."

Hmmmmm......Tin Tin......

The sudden realisation that the whole watch is purely based around a fairly puerile, cartoon character ?
Or based around celebration of an Award given to them by NASA. The NASA Snoopy Award is the bigger draw then the character. If only there was an epic thread about this watch not involving Snoopy Cartoon collectors a few years back or so.

I鈥檒l admit I like the white dial, but hate the other stuff.
