Your head tells you that it should be the entire minute hand because that's what your used to.

There was a thread here about it and I just can't unsee it
That was probably me. I’ve bitched about the unlumed minute hand a few times.

Watch photo, reference number and the Bond movie.

Here’s mine. Aqua Terra, 231.10.39.21.03.001, Daniel Craig wore it in Skyfall.

And on my wristThat

Pulsar P2, the first commercially successful digital watch...the "must have" watch of 1973, "Live And Let Die". Time is set by touching a small horseshoe magnet to minute and hour sensors on the case back...the magnet is stored in a compartment in the clasp of the bracelet.
My dad has a pulsar like this, what do they usually go for nowadays.

My Goldeneye. Had it for years and was my daily driver. Does everything asked without flinching. Bought it used 20 years ago for $1250. It was the golden age of not having to sell a a kidney to buy a decent watch. Miss those days.

I'm just in love with the wave dial.

Agreed, the guilloche dials of the previous gen Seamasters are a thing of beauty. It's has a subtleness to it that the new laser cut wave dials don't have. It's even better on my Great White GMT (need to grab a pic) where depending on how the light catches it.

Completely agree, I think they have somewhat over simplified the waves on the modern iterations, make sure to send a picture of that great white when you can i would love to see it. 👍

Speaking of appeared in Bond movies, @Trev managed to locate a slightly rough Australian version of Little Nellie for sale for about the same money as an Aqua Terra, not sure about airworthiness but as long as you slap it on the side and say “She’ll be right” it should be ok. Might just need a few beers first for confidence.

Will do. Usually keep most of my watches in the bank vault. Minor inconvenience of not being able to grab a different watch each day, but rather that then have to worry about it after a break-in.

Would be cool to restore it to exact color scheme of Little Nellie and have it air worthy. Then make a Bond room in the basement with it being the centerpiece.

And yes, a few beers would definitely be in order before embarking on that type of adventure!

I think I have a few that are related. Couple of 1958 Bond Rolexes (Pussy Galore / Sean Connory) A Roger Moore Seiko from For You Eyes Only. One of the Daniel Craig Bond DBs used in the movie (just kidding...or maybe not)

The above is probably too arcane to follow. Vice Admiral J.A.G. Troup (watch) was the British Admiralty Director of Naval Intelligence. He worked with the next DNI Godfrey to setup Bletchley Park that is famous for code breaking the Nazi Enigma code using the Bombe which arguably leads to Colossus the first electronic computer. Godfrey was Ian Flemings boss.
