·This one from 1990. Check the hang tag. Read it and weep. And I got it at retailer’s cost! This model is the first Speedmaster with the sapphire back, introduced circa 1980. One owner (me). Pictures # 2 and # 3 are the watch as it is today. In the 32 years I have owned it, I might have worn it for a year.

The short version of the long story is this: I've owned modern Speedy Pros since 2000, took a years long detour into sport Rolex, and eventually realized I enjoy wearing Speedmasters more. Started buying vintage Speedies in 2018 and here we are.
