145.022-70, purchased on this forum. I have the bracelet too, but it's too nice to wear!

It's the perfect Speedmaster strap!

Agreed! Cool write up on the Bulang site how it is made by an old Omega supplier with the same tools used to produce the originals.

Let’s say Speedy Pros that are at least 25 years old which is really neo-vintage, but hey, who’s counting! Pics required and pics with comments or stories, even better.

My contribution: 1971 145.022 on an 1175/640 bracelet. This is the last reference where we have the step dial (until 2021!) and the first reference with the “flight qualified by NASA ... the first watch worn on the moon” language AND the hippocampus medallion on the case back.

I have exactly the same watch…right down to the serial number. Pictured on an Omega replica NASA strap…

145.022-69. More or less a daily wear now after a service and new hesalite. Was told it belonged to an executive for a foreign oil company but have no way to verify. Perhaps an extract would get me in the correct country at least but I'm not too worried about it.

Edit: Somewhat appropriately and totally coincidentally, this is my 69th post!

I'd love to get my -69 into daily wear condition. I elected not to have the pushers replaced last service and they aren't sealed any longer. I wish the crowns and pushers could be properly reclaimed as there is quite some variance between different eras. In the end, I'd rather have a watch that is reasonably well-sealed even if it's not original.

It was easy for me to say daily wear since I sit at a desk all day -- it was also an adjustment because I'm a little more wary about bumping into things and getting wet for fear of damaging something that can't easily be replaced. But it has been worth it so far -- bought it specifically to wear and I think vintage Speedys, especially 861s, are up to the task. I hear where you're coming from -- I wouldn't want to replace the original crown nor the -69 crown either.
