Recently studying about different brands and Gallet has really taken me in.
Got a Gallet Multichron 12 with the EP 40 movement

Black Gallet's are so sharp. I have these same two examples - they remain two of my favorites in my collection.

Multichron Pilot (Valjoux 72):

Multichron 12. This one is also Valjoux 72. You can see how the subdials on mine push out into the chapter ring/telemeter area. Whereas yours, with the EP-40, do not. The typical Valjoux 72 spacing of the pushers is evident here too (4 o'clock pusher is slightly further from the crown than the 2 o'clock pusher).
Yours is the "real Jim Clark", he wore an EP-40 example.

and another one with EP 40-68

Love this! Seeing a friend's Excel-o-Graph is what got me started on Gallet collecting. Though I only just got my first Excel-o-Graph, a few years later.

love this brand. Anyone know of better reference sites or sources than Gallet World?

Sadly no. Gallet World does seem to have some errors in it. A good start, but not the most dependable. I've had to rely on other Gallet collectors for my info.

If you find something more, let me know!

If theres a vintage brand w a better ratio of quality to cost i dont know what it is

The watches hold their own against similar era pieces at multiples of the cost

Love love love gallet

Totally agree.
I do wish there was more reliable history and reference materials. But otherwise, yes, good vintage value.

Nice watches!
