·This seems to be an obvious question that I may have missed, is there any reason to wind and set a watch or not before shipping and does it make any difference?
Shipping watches wound/unwound does it make any difference?

·The difference is that, if you wind it and set it before shipping, it will run until it runs down. If the watch is an automatic, it may take an hour or two longer. Depends on how much the parcel is handled.
