I was wearing my MM300 last week, and a non watch person at the sushi bar asked me if it was a Rolex. I was proud to say “only a Seiko”. It is beautiful and has so much presence. I love all of my watches, but this the only one I won’t sell, trade, etc. The ultimate tool peice and I love it. When shopping for a grail beater @Foo2rama said to go for the MM. Glad I listened.

Pawnshop find. Actually paid $120 for the Alpinist, but decided to throw it up on eBay as green is not my thing. I’ll keep the Presage for a bit but will probably flip it to buy one of these for shits and giggles. I’ve come to realize that as much as I like vintage watches, I do not treat them well enough to deserve them. Especially if they are gold/gold filled.

For 120$ I would have bought that off you in a instant

Went a bit mad at an auction last week...

A 6130-3002 Jumbo
A 6138-8020 Panda (with the wrong hands)

A 4006-6040 Bellmatic

A 7019-6070 Calendar

But the real find for me was a couple of job lots of 7As. They're quartz, so not everyone's favourites, but I love 'em

Bottom row, far right - only the third one I've seen in nearly 30 years. I got one for my birthday in 1989. Hated the hair-pulling bracelt so teamed it up with a strap, much more comfortable...

It's the 701B, the so-called Vulcan -- a name given to it by an unscrupulous dealer who falsely claimed they were issued to Vulcan bomber pilots -- they've got a lot of presence. NIce pic by the way.
