The World Time is a good find as you have got one with the "error bezel" which has London Paris and Rome all on the same time zone Picture of mine with the same error
it's all about the herringbone strap! Pogue? - nice. you can't chat about Seikos without mentioning the Pogue. I've got an 'almost-Pogue' (6139-6012)
Because, like the fat girl friend in high school, nobody wants to admit to loving "just" a Seiko, its just not cool enough.
I recently put down on a deposit on the Limited Edition Seiko Blue Lagoon Turtle SRPB11 at my local AD, who gave me a nice discount. Now I'm patiently waiting for it to come in. Oh so patiently. It will be my first Seiko diver. So excited!!! Here's the new Blue Lagoon Turtle on the left and the Samurai on the right. 6,000 being released of each apparently. Glad I have one coming!! Did I mention how patient I am being....
Was Seiko double dogging it on the same NATO during a GTG at Dunkin' Donuts today...6309-7049 top, SRP777K1 bottom...30 years difference regarding manufacture...

This seems to be all wrong, but they say that best way to learn is to "learn-by-doing", so I just bought a cheap Seiko to try and learn more about their great range of vintage chronos. Sold as a 6139-8040 as per the caseback, but isn't this a 6139-6012 ? No idea whats inside but appears to be running according to the two front shots from the seller. I could imagine a correct one of these looks great, this one perhaps less so ! I will take and post some extra pictures when it arrives...
Because then there should be a subforum for all sorts of marques and interests, and before you knew what had happened it'd be like WUS with its billion subfora.
Yea but Seiko is hardly subflora. Sorry don't own any but lots of OF members clearly love them some Seikos.
