My 6309-7049...kickin' ass since 1987...my first "pilot watch"...purchased new at the NAS Whiting Field NEX for $140. 馃憤

Notes: I'm having a bad hair day [night] so I intentionally cropped my bad hair out of the first pic. Also, the date is noticeably misaligned in the second and third pics due to the changeover to the next day.

Nice watch but why are you getting set to wrestle it? 馃榾)

Thanks, man. 馃榾

I was attempting to look like I was positioned to present my 6309 for the pic...but I guess I failed. Upon further review...it sort of does look like I'm in a wrestling position. I'll do better next time...at least you didn't say it looked like I was positioned to take a dump. 馃憤

Owned quite a few, from vintage Grand Seikos to modern dive watches. The only one I have now is the Pepsi on a mock-President bracelet.

I acquire a Seiko, I give it to our son. He deserves them! A number of years ago, I was keeping junker watches running for him, but he kept wrecking them! So I gave him a watch he couldn't wreck..........................or so I thought. It was a Rolex Air-King. I took it back after six months. He broke the stem, crystal, rotor post, and bracelet. I rescued it. Now he wears Seikos and T_ _ _ x!

What happened, did you put him in a tumble dryer?? 馃槻

Just finished a full overhaul and service on this one, wearing it to make sure it's all ok before handing off to the customer.

Wearing one of my 3 Seikos right now! This one steals a lot of wrist time from my speedy and SMP.
Those shrouded monsters are stunning watches, on my radar for next year

I will have to take a pic of my Seiko Quartz later to post. I wonder if you guys can help me?? There is a UK based online Authorised Seiko Dealer selling the Seiko 5 for 拢59.99 and it looks like a good deal. What is the real time accuracy sec's per day from all your Seiko 5's or SKX Seiko's? I as not sure what they advertise mind you many people claim they run better than what Seiko claim. The thing is with a bit of adjustment the watch may run better than what the manufacturer claims. However, if it is running within their specs they may not want to try and improve it under warranty. Te watch is to cheap to go to the expence of taking it to a watch maker. What do you guys think?

Here's my Pepsi project watch that I finished in September 2014. I think I'll wear it to bring in the new year!

As acquired.

Finished project.

Interesting selection. Encouraged me to get my UFO out of the drawer. Needs a little work but one I still haven't got round to doing. Really is a huge thing to wear!

Cheers, Chris

Here's my recently acquired SKX009J. Bought as a beater to complement my Speedy Pro and I've been quite impressed so far!
