After buying and flipping four modern Grand Seikos I bought this. 90% of the fun for 10% of the cost.
its likely they do.... I'm amazed at the number of people who just go to the store and buy stuff, full price, because they can't wait and need to have it now!
Who is making fun!?!? If we seriously wanted bang for our buck we'd all be wearing Seiko 5 watches and Rolex would be struggling to survive with a pleasant line of quartz fashion watches.
I know but it doesnt have as great a movement in plus the date window ruins the look Sent from my HUAWEI P7-L10 using Tapatalk
Very attractive add sentimental value to the equation and just a super watch. Always nice when our family has good taste
Any leather strap recommendations you guys might have for http://www.amazon.com/Seiko-SNK807-...UTF8&qid=1461072018&sr=1-14&nodeID=5777492011 I searched blue leather strap on Amazon and a few decent ones came in. Not looking to spend more than what I paid for the watch
17mm ... You best bet is going with curved 17mm spring bars if you can find them and then a 18mm strap. You might be able to find people on etsy that will custom make a17mm strap for you. You can make 18mm nato or Zulu work on a 17mm springbar. 17mm is hard to get straps for.
At long last the Watchmaker alerted me that my two SKXs would be shipped out next week. Steve Horn drilled the lugs on the Coke bezel version. The other will be sent in for the same treatment when I get it back. Brian Amicucci is the artist. You can reach him at: [email protected] These are his photos. The Coke bezel insert, with coin edge bezel has some Yobokies hands and a double dome sapphire. The cream de la cream, though, is the 6R15 mill purring inside. I had the movement from the original SKX007 installed in a new case, with a dial, chapter ring, hands and GMT bezel insert and triple bezel, all from Yobokies. Can't wait to start swapping NATO, Clover and Strapcode bands and bracelets... More to come when they are in my hands.
