This isn't a new release per se, but apparently Macy's is having quite the sale on Seiko watches (and other brands) for Black Friday here in the US.
https://www.macys.com/shop/jewelry-watches/all-watches/Brand,Special_offers/Seiko,Black Friday Special?id=239616 is a link that should show you all the Seiko offerings that have reduced prices....
Yeah, it's more than I want... but it's sort of like you can choose: do you want a decent copy of the OG watch, or do you want a new one with warranty that can hop in the pool with you?
A new release of the speed timer for anyone that's missed it. The "Speedometer" apparently, or SSC937P1 if you're being exact. Quite taken with this. Very tempting for 650 squid.

I think my favorite new watch ended up being the SRPK17 Seiko 5 reissue.
Damn seiko pumps up the watches. I almost got that KS with the funky dial but the brown kinda wasn’t my thing. I don’t mind picking up a new seiko on occasion as the vintage ones become a minefield. I was actually making a deal with someone local for a vintage bullhead I went over his house he had a bag of five dials and was “almost done putting it together”. Tbh it still looked nice but he was asking true vintage prices.
I’m not a big fan of the current X on the dial I really don’t know why just doesn’t “do it” for me despite having two.
Bottom line, Seiko, it’s a good thing.

Wow, that was awesome to see them all in one place. So many good options to choose from. The SRQ049 Speedtimer is perhaps my favorite.
I really like the SPB441. Just one of those watches where they seem to have gotten everything right, from the size to the dial, script, or even that strap.
