Hi All,

Pics of my first automatic which started my interest in watches, the legendary orange monster!
This thing has taken everything thrown at it and been all over the world. I haven't found anything to come close to it..

A fantastic part of Seiko's history. I also have a couple of the gen 1 monsters, I havent worn them recently but one of them was my daily for a long time and was a great watch

Yes! It reminds me of an old scuba diving helmet, really not sure why!
Have worn for surfing, fixing the car, desk diving, with steel bracelet, with rubber bracelet - just brilliant.
They are incredible watches...

I used to not care for them, but they are growing on me. The more I collect Seiko, the more I enjoy the really funky models.

There are some really funky models indeed, makes me wish I'd started collecting watches sooner!

How good is that bracelet??!
Incredible value..

Lol, nice cufflinks to go with it. It's one of the better seiko bracelets I've had in this price range, but I'm like 1 link short and it's a little tight.

I'm thinking of ordering and uncle Seiko razor bracelet... I think it would match the vibe.

Seiko Monster are nice, especially the 2nd Gen. I own two of them, a Dracula and a Pumpkin Orange

Enjoy! My kid's sick, so we're trying to be spooky at home as we give out candy.

I have some decent seikos I enjoy the hec out of but I neglected to pick up an orange dial one. I need to remedy this I feel my manhood is lacking somehow

The orange gen 1 is a beefy classic, to be sure. I definitely won't try to talk you out of getting one. But the updated movements in the gen 2 are much nicer IMO.
