Ouch. 馃檨 One issue with 6139s may be the epidemic of pieces with aftermarket parts. I think many buyers are just scared to buy them.
It鈥檚 very true. I get watches in all the time and I have to break the news to people. I really should do a blog post on it. I see the same formula over and over again that all these dealers follow - rusty, water damaged watch, polish the crap out of it, aftermarket everything and movement in terrible condition. People get fooled all the time and it鈥檚 always the same play.

I need to check in on these boards more often... to the OP, that is a good deal IMO. The dial, bezel, hands and lume look clean, free from any obvious marks or rot. The case looks to have no significant pitting or rust. Have it serviced and I suspect you will have a very nice example

Here are my 6217 and 6117's... Many of these have been serviced by Ashton:

Of course I have dozens more if counting the LCD and Quartz versions that followed.

If you like the 6217 or 6117 Seikos, and are in for a challenge - Citizen made a pretty awesome version too - here's mine:

FWIW, I agree on the 6139 and values/prices. I would only buy one from a collector I trust, and now having acquired 3 this way, I have realized I prefer just about any Omega at the same price point - before we even start talking about the rampant (and sometimes very good) fake, forgeries and hack jobs. With the World timers, you main concern is with the 6117-640x's - where after market parts abound, but they are less common, probably by the same measure that they are less popular.

I've been offered the following for about 550 USD including taxes.

I have 3 seiko WT, with one coming in soon.

So I will sell one of them

I just got another silver world time, and will compare those twos first.

All three are the early edition, with large crown and black gmt hand for the silver WT

Then I will sell one of them silver WT (just the watch without bracelet)

@Eclipse39 very nice. The thick / tapered GMT hands on yours and the MADE IN JAPAN dials indicate earlier production models, likely before August 1964. Your silver dial 6217-7000 has the cities bezel from the 6217-7010 - easiest tell is the addition of Singapore and the inner ring of cities in blue instead of black.
