To be honest, I've never seen that much packing material used to transport just a single watch. When Omega mailed my SMP back to me after a service, it was just in the red service pouch covered in some bubble wrap, and then placed in a plastic mailing satchel.

Thankfully Seiko realised this and incorporated drilled through lugs, so much easier to do strap changes.

Does anyone else find it hard to read the time on the watch ? Too much white on white ? I know they are not really supposed to be more than a piece of eye candy but they had a purpose once upon a time.

··Married... with childrenI find that the black border of the hands is just enough for me to be able to read the time. I'd imagine that the SMP GMT "Great White" and white dial SMP 300m would have similar issues.
