·I am in the market for a new Seamaster, but I am confused about Omega's pricing here. I am looking at the blue ( not summer blue) date, but also the no date black. I know some people like aluminum bezels and some ceramic. Some people like a date window some do not. However, the ceramic is a more expensive feature and a upgrade on most watches. Also, the date is an extra complication. So why is it that the no date Seamaster is a more expensive watch by a substantial amount. I looked at Rolex no date Sub and it is quite a lot less than the date version. Again some people like the no date over the date, but the price reflects the extra complication I believe. Am I missing something here? Do the no date Seamaster have a better movement? I believe the dial on the no date is also aluminum and ceramic on the date version. This is very confusing to me. Can someone explain this to me?
