Seamaster Cosmic 2000 Ref. 166-0128 - Crown Help

I have been an Omega fan since I first saw Pierce Brosnan play bond with my grandpa. Recently, I acquired my very first omega / mechanical watch, a vintage Seamaster Cosmic 2000 Ref. 166-0128, with the 1020 movement. Tragically, the crown has gone missing. It has to be in my house somewhere, and I have actually turned it upside down looking for it to no avail.

Can someone please help me find a part number for a replacement crown? If i can not find an authentic replacement, i want the new one to at least be the same size. I will be taking it to a very respected watch jeweler in my area for the repair. I am attaching 3 pictures, 1) the picture of the crown from when i received it, 2) the watch now 3) a screenshot of omega website of what i believe is the same watch i own. I would be greatly appreciative of any help.

Why don't you let them find a crown, that's part of a watchmakers job.

I'm sorry for my ignorance, this is my first "nice" watch and I'm just so upset with myself about losing it. I know nothing about watch repair process. If that is truly something they would normally do I will definitely just bring it to them. Again I apologize

No need to apologize. If your watchmaker has an Omega parts account they can definitely get the correct crown. If they dont have a parts account they have their sources. Good luck and post pictures when its done. and welcome to OF

They are an authorized Omega dealer with in-house watch repairs so I would assume they have a parts account...I will give them a call in the morning and potentially head over there and drop it off. I will definitely update the thread. Thanks for the advice

Update: brought the watch to the Omega boutique and they said it would have to be sent to Omega and take 3 months at least…it doesn’t seem like that would be necessary but that is what they told me. So I’m back where I started

"Omega Boutique" and "Omega Certified Watchmaker" are two different things.

This is good advice, & what @SOG53 is recommending is to take the watch to an independent Omega Certified watchmaker with an Omega Parts account. The boutique is there for new sales & after-sales support, & for warranty support, not the vintage parts sourcing questions that you need answered.
