Seamaster 300 M 2551/2552 differences

I am somewhat interested in the smaller Seamaster and in researching have come up with the 2551.8 and 2552.8 . Am I correct in saying the only difference , apart from price, is the colour of the bezel and dial.
As an aside most 2552 models seem to be in Japan
